Nokia 6300: Compact, Design Classic
In the age of smartphones such as the Palm Pre or iPhone, we here at mobiles-uk.net think it is important to remember one of our favourite and most popular phones: the Nokia 6300.With its compact candy bar design, impressive battery life and outstanding durability we definitely think this is one handset that lasts the test of time.
From falling in cups of coffee to being dropped on the concrete pavement after a few too many shandies, the Nokia 6300 has just kept going and going…
For all you tech heads out there it is not the most gadget packed of phones. It comes with a very basic 2MP camera and video recorder along with a slow WAP based web browser (So no Facebook chats and Google Maps here!)
However, when it comes to calls and texts it is second to none. Consistent call quality and stores in excess of 1200 text messages. Also the traditional texting method is faster and more accurate for the more “old school” among us!
To summarise, for a cheap, affordable mobile, you can’t go far wrong with the Nokia 6300. Nice and compact, not for those wanting web browsing or more advanced applications but perfect for calls and texts. They don’t make them like this anymore!
